Munich/Ostbahnhof
Ostbahnhof is a district of Munich.
- Kultfabrik This is a party zone near the Ostbahnhof subway/train station with many discos, which is brilliant, because there is something for (nearly) every taste. And if you don't get into one, there is always another.
- Optimolwerke Located behind the Kultfabrik, it is similar to it, but has Ü30 parties, which are parties for over 30 year olds.
Get in
To get there, take any S-Bahn or the U4 or U5 and get out at Ostbahnhof, and either follow the signs, or the stream of teenagers.
Eat
There is a Nachtkantine where you can eat, and stands selling kebabs (Döner in German) and the like.
Drink
It does not get really full before about midnight or later, but if you come earlier you are more likely to get cheaper/free entry. You can pick up vouchers from people handing them out at the U-bahn exit. Mostly these are just flyers, but sometimes they are coupons for free entry. Prices range from 0 Euros (Boomerang) to 5 Euros (Living 4) and up.
There are bars/discos such as the "Americanos" and "Boomerang" which are more popular with slightly older people, or a Russian disco, popular with people who like, Russian music and lots of Vodka! There are many more, so it is best to go there for yourself and find out what you like best.
For cheaper drinks go to "Americanos" before twelve or to "Raffael".
The popular discos are:
- Living 4 which plays popular R'n'B an Hip Hop
- Freudenhaus with three different dance halls playing Pop/Hip Hop, German music (depending on he weekday) and techno. There you mostly find teenagers. (On Fridays, girls get into "Freudenhaus" for free before twelve).
